Poolside tandoori in Shropshire

I was in the area for work and was recommended to Evening Spice. I was so impressed, polite and helpful staff, wonderful food that reminded me of when I was a kid and was fed wonderful food by an auntie. The quality of the food at Evening Spice took me right back to my childhood. A lot of people in the restaurant said they were used to ordering out and it was their first time eating in, they really enjoyed the food too. LOVE THIS RESTAURANT

Excellent meal here. Ordered a chefs special was absolutely brilliant. All praises to the new member of staff 'Josh' who was attentive friendly and funny, made us feel at home he's one to keep. 5 stars all round.

This place is ok for a meal out ,kids size meals available too ,could be a bit better to be honest.

Terrible food . Asked for no oil. Food was swimming in oil. Rice greasy and chana bahji was just chick peas and Oli. Nothing what we expected. Food really gone downhill. We will stick with Raj which is always excellent and never disappoints. All food from evening spice went in bin and we reordered from Raj. A very expensive meal

Wonderful. Not keen on Indian food due to the spices but love ordering from here. They cater for my boyfriend who loves really spicy food and for me. There is something which everyone will love. Their different Nan breads are smashing(I am drooling thinking about them). They use good quality meat love their Lamb Tikka dishes with extra lamb. Their starters are amazing. The problem is I order too much. Get filled up on starters so have to then have the main the next day reheated still fabulous. They are the only takeaway that delivers to us as we our out of range usually so Fantastic service and always ontime. Definitely 5 star.

This is my favourite curry restaurant (and I have sampled a lot of others!), for both the great tasting food and the outstanding, friendly service. The menu features both the usual curries and a fantastic range of special dishes including many that I have not seen elsewhere. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant with young kids too (we have taken our son here several times since he was about 3 years old). My parents live in the village and are regulars here so the staff know them by name. We make a point of visiting the restaurant nearly every time we go to visit my parents (a few times a year) and have never been disappointed; I wish we lived nearer (though that would be very bad for my waistline!). Simply superb.
