The decor is lovely but unfortunately that’s as good as you’ll get. Came for my partners birthday however ended up waiting an hour for our food, upon asking we were told it was due to some items take longer to cook which I think is code word for ‘we forgot your order’ as there were tables that ordered similar items who arrived the same time or after us and waited minutes. The mash with my pie was lumpy and even had a couple chips it which was odd. My partner asked for her burger to be well done however it was pink and the chips must have been standing for some time as they were soggy and cold. We were so disappointed we didn’t want to stick around for desert which is extremely rare for us, especially on my partners birthday. We loved this place a couple years ago which is why we felt so let down.

Lovely venue, food beautifully presented and tasted great . Portions just right and staff polite and very efficient. All on one level and great facilities for disabled people. Will be returning soon with friends and recommend to others.

Pub nice ambiance staff friendly and efficient. Food fresh plenty of it. Some pool cook ie lumpy mashed potatoes not very will presented The pudding which was cheese cake looked homemade large portion but just a splodge on the plate.

Our Friends from Shropshire booked a table for late lunch with us on Friday. We were coming from Oxfordshire and admittedly we were 30 minutes late. After bit of chatting we set to order the food only to be told that food was served till 3pm. It was 3.10. We asked whether it would be possible to get anything to bite. The answer was definite no. Nobody warned us that the kitchen would be closed despite the fact that the booking had been made for food. Formally they were right: we were late with the order. But where is the hospitality? A bit of sympathy and effort to accommodate? With such attitude this is not the place we will ever visit again. Shame on you...

It looks brilliant on the outside. More negativity to be said about the inside. Some servers seem VERY inexperienced and the lady serving us came across rude (I think its her persona) but there was zero welcoming attitude, nor gratitude at the end. The food was great though! Other members of staff seemed more cheerful, but all we could hear were private conversations outside the kitchen and some inappropriate language.

Our first visit. Had lunch and drinks in the outside area. The sun was shining so perfect for Al fresco dining. The inside was well presented and the staff were very friendly and gave great service. We will be back again.

Not the best used to be better unfortunately!Chewy belly pork , changed that for a cheese toasty and the cheese hadn't even melted! On the plus side we they didn't charge us for the toasty but need to do better than that

Very good meal and good portions. We had the 3 courses for 19.99 and couldn't fault it. Well worth it, a trouble free Sunday lunch. Will definitely be visiting again.
