The most disgusting fish and chips I have ever eaten. The chips were dry as a bone and tasted stale. The batter on the fish was pure grease, and inside the fish was dried out. The batter on the sausage was dry. The food must have been sitting around in the warming bit for ages, they had cooked loads but there was not many customers. Just horrible.

I don't recall a bad experience with in the last 4 years of going to this chippy. Everything's usually fresh & they're always more than happy to cook a particular item fresh to order to you're specific requirements plus all the staff are really friendly.

Good fast food take away in Ellesmere. Offers all sorts of food options which include a fillet of cod with a good portion of chips for £6.50. Brother and I enjoyed eating our fish and chips inside the shop as there was 2 tables with 4 fixed chairs per table to eat at. We would go again as the food was lovely hot and filling 🙂

Went with a friend to dine in both being portly gents we found the seating very small with fixed table and seating very uncomfortable,we ordered cod chips and mushy peas. The cod was dry and had been coated with the peas we think to try and hide the dryness chips were also dry and Luke warm, we had to have a soft drink as we could not have coffee or tea would not recommend at all a complete contrast to what we experienced at the silverfish in wem

Ordered fish & chips. The fish was large, golden and crispy outside, perfectly moist and tender inside. I ordered it 5 times on my vacation last summer! Their chips are good too. Massive portion! It will fill the heartiest of appetites!
