Reubens Bar & BBQ in Shropshire

Closed and still let me book a table online ruined our night only found out well looking for the restaurant and locals informed us it was closed still says open on Google. If you ring in there's a message on the voicemail so advise to ring in to make a call to see if its open. Shame really because it looks really good place to eat

Second time at Reubens, nice clean comfortable rooms. Only thing this time is the cracked tiles on the bathroom floor.

We stayed over in the family guest room, had a wonderful stay so clean and comfy, also very central will definitely stay again and we are 😁

Absolutely superb food and service. Our party of 6 was greeted by a really friendly member of the team and we were seated quickly. The atmosphere was nice, a good buzz about the place with other families and couples enjoying dinner, the music was good and not too loud. Menus are available via a QR code on the table so really covid safe. Huge choice of food, loads of meat, burgers and a couple of veggie options. Food was served very quickly and tasted amazing. The service we received from several different people was just the best, really attentive, super polite and friendly. Can't recommend enough, will definitely be back.

Nice place with friendly, welcoming staff.Great menu if you are meat eater and huge portions 👍 The food was tasty and I had a nice pint of Goose Island ipa.There us accommodation available upstairs and the rooms are clean and tidy with normal tea & coffee. A small cereal breakfast is also included.Would recommend Reubens and it is a good place to come to if anyone is fishing the sandstone trail in Whitchurch.

Great barbecue/American style restaurant. They serve a large variety of burgers, steak and ribs with delicious American style sides like Mac and cheese or coleslaw. The burgers are all pretty huge and deliciously juicy. No dry beef or chicken to be found here!Good value for money, staff were friendly and service was quick.Recommended to book on typically busy nights.

OK food. Only negative was got ribs for the kids( which the waitress knew) and they were a bit spicy. Mentioned it and said next time tell us it for kids and you can have a barbecue sauce.Why not give us that option when we ordered originally?

Bad points. Gristle in the chicken nachos, too much thick sickly sauce on my sons ribs and chicken for us and Belgian waffle was served too cold to melt the ice cream. Good points. My burrito was tasty and good value and my daughter enjoyed her kids meal, staff were helpful and we had a nice time.

Brilliant meal at Reubens last night.Me and my partner both had the Combo Boxes which are more than sufficient food wise. I had the rib and SFC combo and it was absolutely fantastic.Reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and the service was brilliant. We felt very safe COVID wise and had a great time.

Simple burger or steak menu, but absolutely excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the superb food and Paul and the team really looked after us. Silly though it seems, it's the best meal out we've had in ages. Thoroughly recommended. Just a shame we're not local so can't come every week. COVID precautions are good too, which really helps change a night out into a relaxing night out
