Riverside Fish and Chip Shop in Shropshire

Had fish and chips in a box, served by a surley teenager in a hoody and no overall who was more interested in his mobile texting than me, food was was not as good as it use to be, very dussapointing wont be going again

Beautiful crispy batter on fresh fish and large portion of chips. No question so service was fast by friendly staff.

I don't normally leave reviews on chip shops as I'm never that impressed however these guys have impressed me, I had a kebab with chips and a sausage and all was beautifully cooked, salad was fresh and crunchy and quite abit of meat too! Would reccomend and will visit again when I'm working in the area.

The owners of this chippie were nice to us after our canoe had just capsized and we came in for some fish and chips, they gave us some drinks on the house. The food was wonderful.

Very dissatisfiedFreshly cooked fish . Mostly greasy batter .Chips undercooked .£16 and most of it went in the bin .Will not be returningResponse to your reply .....I did not enter the shop my husband bought the food . So you got that wrong ! . At no point have I mentioned about waiting for the food ? I expect to wait for fish and chips to be cooked . That’s not the issue here .Please re read my comment properly. Lovely fish and chips by the river today, thanks to Riverside! Huge, tasty piece of fish and nice fresh chips. Very friendly service too, and lots of Covid-safe measures in place.

Went in late Tuesday evening was only one person infront of me and had to wait 10 minutes just for a member of staff to acknowledge me.All I wanted was fish and chips after all it is a fish and chip shop ! But they had no fish Ready it was only made to order ! Why couldn't they have told me this when I walked in ? So I opted for the battered sausage and chips with curry sauce.The tray was literally half full of chips and they were all raw ! What a waste of 8.40 for these two meals I will never go here again worst chippy I've ever had and not even cheap!

My Friend went in I stayed in car. Reason for going in there was I had just come from having injection against covid and hadn't been out for a meal for ages so was nice to have a really lovely meal of fish n chips and the fish was delicious thick n white each fish was 14 inches long we couldn't believe it the batter was crispy. No one in there very safe. We will go again in 12 weeks time when I go for my 2nd injection. Or hopefully before. Thank you didn't know you were there glad we found you.
