3.5 starThe foot was great, views great, bar was great.but still was disappointed with my visit. Felt like we where a burden to the staff. Had to hunt down and ask each and everytime we wanted a drink. Had a issue with not all sides turned up and took ages to get the attention of a member of staff To get it sorted,GF order a prawn and avacardo cocktail which only had one peace of avacardo the size of a fingernail. At the end of the meal we waited for 20mins waiting for the bill or to be offered another drink. After that long I had to walk round to ask for the bill. Then went over to the bar outside and the woman working there was really friendly.

Been for drinks a few times since the reopening. Always a lovely place to unwind, especially outdoors during the warmer months. Recently visited for Valentines Day meal. Food and service were both excellent. Highly recommended

Brilliant visit today, neither of us had visited before and we will definitely be back. Our server Aaron was great, extremely friendly, helpful and personable. I have to say we were impressed with all of the staff there, we observed a table of 12 that were there and they all got their food at the same time, but not to the detriment of any of the other tables. The food was fabulous, I require a gluten free menu and that was no problem. We both opted for roast dinners, I had extra gluten free Yorkshire puddings which were so so nice, the best I've ever had, they were definitely not the sort you get from a freezer. I had the gluten free Caramelized Vanilla Cheesecake for desert and it was amazing.Highly recommended.

Best restaurant I've been to in ages, super happy we went! We had an amazing 3 course meal here and both starter and main tasted amazing and the pudding was lovely! The restaurant is beautiful decorated so open but yet cosy.Restaurant and toilets was clean and the views are a bonus. Staff are all friendly, service was a little slow (we was in no rush so no biggie) but considering how busy it was we were still very happy with the service and the food and didn't have to wait long.I'll definitely be back and reccomending to family and friends 😊

Been a couple of times now, had a lot of work done inside, very comfortable and nice ambieonce. First time just for a drink, Shropshire Gold, not available. The second time was to attend their first Burns Night which we prebooked a week or so before. Burns night menu was great value, £22 for 4 courses.Arrived and had a drink in the bar area first to find the Shropshire Gold wasn't available again.Shown to the table, we're told the soup isnt available, which wasn't an issue for us as we all went for the mussels, delicious, couldn't fault it although a finger bowl would have been a nice touch.Onto the 2nd course Haggis, Neaps and Tatties with a lovely sauce. Then onto the main course, I was sold on the medallions of venison, as they came with hassle back potatoes, you can see from the photo, presentation on this wasn't the best and they had obviously run out of hassle back potatoes because I got roasted new potatoes. Anyway my friends Chicken dish looked much better as you can see, however, my Venison was cooked extremely well and melted in the mouth which prevented me from returning it and asking it to be replaced by the Chicken. The sauce was also excellent. Onto dessert and watching what was coming out to other tables made the decision to have the chocolate torte, was served with coconut ice cream and maple syrup, this was nice although I couldn't help notice that ours came out in a rectangle shape where as the others we'd seen were a wedge which made me wonder had we been given something different? Anyway we enjoyed what we had with some small reservations, it wouldn't deter us from going again, but would be mindful about what we were getting rather than relaxed and confident in the consistency of what's being served and offered.

Fantastic newly renovated venue with a great view of the river Severn. The outside space really is very nicely done. The food was good and the menu varied. We'll be back for sure.

My wife and I attended Riverside Inn with friends for an evening meal. We had a lovely meal in super surroundings. The pub has recently been renovated and it looks like an awful lot of money was spent to create not only a quality restaurant area but outside seating overlooking the River Severn, a stunning setting. We were waited on by Lottie who was very personable and attentive, she added great value to our dining experience. We thoroughly recommend the Riverside Inn.We returned to the Riverside Inn and had an equally fabulous experience. It is worthy of note the high standards are being maintained. The staff really are excellent!

Fantastic setting on a bend on the River Severn. Can't comment on food as we only stopped for a quick drink, but large beer garden set on different tiers with very tasteful furniture. Staff were friendly too. No complaints.

Stayed overnight at this newly refurbished/reopened Greene King pub, restaurant with accommodation. The location is excellent with views of the Severn from all parts of the rear of the building including the dining room.Staff still learning the ropes but we're very helpful and eager to please the guests and visitors, however service was a little slow at times.Food was ok but not great, my lamb chops for dinner were well cooked and delicious, but the accompanying Mediterranean vegetables were undercooked which was mentioned to the waiting staff. Hopefully things will improve as everyone settles down. The room we had was very well decorated and had a good sized bathroom plus a walk in wardrobe, so no complaints on that score.Would definitely visit again if in the area, even if it was just to see if the staff are still as enthusiastic and the food has improved.

We came here on a sunday evening after booking a few days beforehand. Served by Aaron who was helpful and attentive, we ordered the signature roasts (rib of beef - my favourite and belly pork) both dishes arrived in good time and were so tasty! Beautiful views across the river too - made for a really lovely evening - will definitely book again😊
