Route 49 in Shropshire

Lady owner a marvellous human being. Very nice chips as well.

Called on at lunch time for some chips, had to wait a few minutes for a fresh batch, but was fine. Chips were a good size and the portion was ok for the price. Only lost a star as they used plastic trays, would much rather see paper wrap as it's more environmentally sound.

Really lovely chip shop , freshly cooked the staff are very cheerful and helpful.

we had some lovely fish and chips that set us up nicely for our 4 hour drive home to Lancashire.a lovely lady serving lovely food ! 😁

This used to be a great little chip shop until it was taken over by new owners a few years back. The quality and more importantly, the quantity for you money is pathetic. Over a tenner for two portions of chips, curry sauce and a battered sausage that would all fit in a card box just a little bigger than a McDonalds burger box.RIP OFF

The owner is a cracking lad, always very friendly, food always hot and will cook to order, fish and chips are excellent, sausages delicious especially the battered, and the 49er sausage is a meal in its self.

Lovely staff, excellent service and great food. Especially if you like decent batter and really good chips. Will definitely be revisiting now I've finally stopped here!

Called in here on the way home from taking my cat to the vet......Best fish 'n' chips we've had in a long time! Freshly cooked, beautiful piece of cod, nice light crispy batter, great chips. Served by a very nice Lady. We will most definitely be back!

Always stop here when I’m out riding my motorbike in and around Shropshire. Food always tastes lovely, fish with lovely crunchy batter and freshly cooked. The mini fish box is ideal for £4.50 chips, mini fish and choice of beans, peas or curry sauce. More than enough to keep you going all day.

Super quick service and the most delicious fresh fish & chips!It is hidden treasure if you pass by the A49, there are benches & parking for you to stop and have a super bite! Very clean too.Prices are also very reasonable & staff friendly.Totally recommend
