Always a good meal here, and the staff are attentive. We hadn't been since before the pandemic and it's still fantastic.

expensive, service poor, had the butter chicken it was awful, to top it off read the recipt £36 service charge??? refused to pay it especially with the poor service and poor food and over priced drinks. never again will order a take away from tandori cottage at least they know how to cook a proper curry.

Very friendly and relaxed atompshere went for the Sunday buffet and the choice was perfect very fresh dishes and excellent choice for under 15 pounds. Highly recommended plenty of space between each tables and a large carpark I rate this a 5 stars

Shocking service tonight , took my daughter for a birthday meal and twice she found some plastic in her mango chutney , not even a sorry instead the waiters were very rude to us Apart from that the salad looked like it had been stood for a week, and the portions were shocking .I myself am a catering supervisor and I know that this is not how you treat customers.

Had some good food at the Saffron Cottage on Saturday but oh my gosh was the service slow. We had a table for 2 booked for 8.15pm, arrived at 8.18pm but weren't shown to our table until 9pm and didn't receive our food until 9.40pm. This is totally unacceptable, especially as there were other empty tables and we'd only booked two hours before. We didn't order any starters either, which seemed to cause our waiter some concern, probably because he knew we were in for a wait. We asked for an update on our food 3 times and each time we were treated like we were pestering and that a massive long wait is normal. Finally the toilets were in need of a proper clean. I was glad to leave and I won't be going back again.

Came here for a meal with my husband and the food and service was excellent. We had a nice table away from other people too, making it a relaxing experience. Also we were pleased when we got the bill and there was no service charge, unlike some of the other local restaurants. Will return next time we're in the area to visit my parents who live nearby.

Good food. Good service. Young lad serving very enthusiastic! Deserves a pay rise. Service charge added at the end was a disappointment. Probably would have tipped more and got 5 stars.

This place was stunning. The location is beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and on top of that the food was divine. In my eyes a very large menu to decide from and we'll definitely be back to try more of what they have to offer. Thanks.
