Shrewsbury Arms in Shropshire

The Shrewsbury Arms is always a delight to visit. The staff are as friendly and welcoming as the food is generous and delicious. The pub always has a warm, cosy atmosphere and very importantly for us - dog friendly! Definitely recommend without hesitation.

Went for mothers day meal. Sharing roast platter. Meats cooked to perfection. Staff very attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend. Not over priced very reasonable. Would definitely go again.

Was having a drive about and came across this place glad we stopped food was really nice and staff were great, food came pretty quick definitely worth the money the place inside is really nice and cosy and toilets very clean.

Went out tocelebrate my 40th 😬Freshly prepared food, my meal was swapped without hesitation as i found it too oily. Fabulous zombie cocktail!Hope to stay longer once the 10pm curfew is lifted.Edit!!Yet again absolutely wonderful service,and food. I didn't take any photos as we were having such a lovely time celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had complimentary prosecco which was a lovely unexpected touch! Fabulous atmosphere, candles, music, ambience. Will be back.Thank you to all the staff, especially Zach who looked after us so well. 🙂Visited early evening with kids, lovely relaxing decor. My food was very good and a bigger portion than the fish that my friends ordered. Most had to order an extra portion of chips just to make a full meal. But all tasted good.Had a long wait for the food but we were not in a rush otherwise would of given a poor review

We came for my birthday meal on Thursday. We were a big party and the whole evening went smoothly, this place can really accommodate for larger groups. The service (Jana and Ben I think it was), atmosphere and food were just amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We hadn't booked and though only a Thursday all restaurant tables were taken so we needed to eat in the bar. Service was perhaps a little slow. The lamb shank I chose was very tender and tasty though the sauce a touch salty. My choice of dessert was unavailable.

Celebrated seeing in the New Year here, first visit and we were all impressed. Great atmosphere, the staff were excellent and the food was delightful.

The Shrewsbury Arms has such a delicous menu option. Couldnt help but get a three course meal as the food was done too perfection. Events are never ending with deals and promotions which grant you with amazing drinks. You have a wild selection of exotic and splendid cocktails as well as ales and beers.

Omg we had the sharing platter Sunday lunch here (18.7.21), it was absolutely delicious! The best food ever!! Such a wonderful meal,so tasty, and great value, top quality food, and brilliant service from Harrison. We will definitely be back and bring the family
