Always great food 😋 but last night I finally tried the masalla fish, with perfect chips.It was absolutely delicious and massive portion as usual. If you like fish,try it ,it's yummy

Updated review June 2022I gave this place another try after new management were getting good word of mouth feedback. I was very pleased to be able to use this place again. The food was great and the service a huge step forward. The cod was especially good.Updated my review to 1 star in May 2021. I watched as they took food that had been wrapped for a collection order and held in the warmer, unwrapped them and put back in with fresh chips. The chips were stale and ruined our meal.I’ve tried chips shops in Bewdley, Bridgnorth and Cleobury and this place had the best tasting fish and chips but they have spoilt it for me now as I don’t trust their respect for customers.

Never been to a chip shop as bad as this one food is shocking

First time using this place. Everything looks clean and friendly staff. We ordered pizza which was good value for money and tastey.Will use again 👍

Fish freshly cooked lovely , i know 8-30 is not a good time for chips not freshly cooked let the meal down hence the 3 stars :

What can i do? What can i say? They're Chips! I walked in said "alright babs i fancy a cone or two" and they were cooked fast and tasted lush. Would come again Xx

This is the only fish and chip shop around so we do use it but the quality is a bit hit and miss. It can get quite busy and the food tends to be really nice then, but when it is slow there is a noticeable drop in the quality as if it has been sitting around. It's quite clean and tidy inside and the staff are friendly.

Excellent service and fresh hot fish and chips last night to reward our swimming at the pool in Highley. 13 Wi and book club members swam over 404 lengths and raised money for South Shropshire Domestic Abuse services. Thank you to Staff at Skippers for providing the excellent food. Highley residents you are very lucky to have this great chippy in your village!
