Been here a few times before and loved it was so looking forward to going back. But unfortunately this will not the case. The food was bland, lukewarm, I had the Vienna and my sausage was chewy and tasteless, the brioche bun was also stale. My niece had the marshmallow milkshake which the waitress knocked over. She just stood there and didn’t even attempt to clean it up. We had to ask them to do it. The milkshake had an awful aftertaste to it.I ordered a mocktail as I was driving, she gave it to me and said here’s your daiquiri!! when told that’s not what I asked for she just stared at me and just pushed towards me. My partner had to check to see if it had any alcohol in it. Luckily it didn’t. However it tasted so sweet it was undrinkable! We wanted to order different drinks but the waitresses were just hanging around behind the bar just talking to themselves and had no interest until my niece went up to the bar.£78 for three mediocre, tasteless meals and 5 drinks (two awful drinks) is a rip off.Would not recommend and unfortunately would not returnOh and having young clearly untrained waitresses with love bites isn’t good for business.

Good service (when they opened after a short gap in service), excellent beef but the burger left a bit to be desired.Refillable soft drinks is always a nice touch - well done! How about bringing back just a meat tray without the burger or fries? I would have loved to have tried some pulled pork and wing along with the brisket and beef rib.Either way, I'll be back soon!

This was the first time we have been to the Smoke stop in Ford. When we arrived as we were being shown to our table, we were informed that there were no chicken options available other than pulled chicken as they had run out. It's not a major problem. We order two starters to share "Burnt Ends" ( According to the menu a must have) & Crab cakes this came with a Rosemary mayonnaise ( I asked for this on the side as I personally do not like Rosemary. When the starters arrived, they were extremely small for the £7 that they cost each! The Crab cakes had the Rosemary mayonnaise on the top of them. The waitress did notice this & offered to take it back to the kitchen & get us some more. For our Mains, three of us had ordered burgers & my wife had ordered the BBQ ribs. Our friend had ordered a burger that came with Pulled Chicken! When this arrived, the chicken on the burger was just a lump of chicken unpulled & dry. My burger with Pulled Pork was OK but still very dry tasting. The BBQ ribs my wife had were so salty that they were inedible! The price for this was an astonishing £120 including drinks (we only had two drinks each & my wife had one because she was driving) After complaining to the manager about the food he did reduce the bill & gave us some 50% off vouchers as an apology. This was a very disappointing experience, especially when there are other restaurants nearby that serve much better food for a lot less money. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to The Smoke stop in Ford.

We used to absolutely love eating here but tonight has put us off for good! The food was dreadful , lukewarm, dry, flavourless, burnt, small burgers with a huge portion of chips. There was a hair in the coleslaw. My son had a kids meal which was even worse. His chicken was like rocks. The Fanta was waterered down lemonade with a drip of orange squash in. The high chair for our toddler had no straps then when we changed it there was mouldy food all over it. Just awful. £60 for 3 rubbish inedible meals. Never again.

I had high expectations going here as our last booking was cancelled when COVID hit, via social media there food looks great, but in reality noI ordered an extra chicken on my burger safe to say it was tiny and the burger as a whole was bland, Mrs Mac and cheese looked like it had been in a blender and not worth the silly price tag!Served food on school dinner trays would've much preferred a plate, portion size to price ratio seriously needs attention

In the past I have had some truly mind blowing BBQ and American styled foods from this place. Things like nachos, frickles and burnt ends and lovely well prepared drinks. The last time I was here we asked for a doggy bag because the ribs were so massive and filling and too tasty to waste.Unfortunately things have changed a bit. I booked a table on a Saturday night thinking it might be busy but expecting fresh BBQ meats and fast service. It took a very long for our food to arrive and was presented in a fairly slapdash fashion. We both had very dry and dehydrated burnt ends and ox cheeks, my Vienna sausage with pastrami was very cold and the brioche was soaked and soggy from sitting for a while. The frickles were very weird, whole mini pickles done in overcooked breadcrumb type batter rather than the heavenly tempura slices they used to do, and the onion rings were the same, overcooked and in weird gritty batter. The cocktails were disappointing, lacklustre compared to the sweet laden fancies on the website and felt watered down with bucket loads of ice.Overall we didn't want to complain because after covid it feels so cruel. But we agreed that it felt like the chef had inherited a menu that he didn't really like and so everything was very standard and overpriced for the quality. And the meat was so dry, tough and lacking flavour! This is in comparison to the delicious, hot, high quality food I have had here maybe 5 or 6 times since 2015 and pre 2019.The prices were also very high. The staff were lovely and welcoming and I just feel sad that they are probably having to deal with reviews like this now when it's not their fault. Something has gone wrong at the Smoke Stop and until things change I sadly can't recommend it to anyone.

Always hot, delicious food made with good quality ingredients. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere and fair prices. Our favourite place to go, we just love it here :)

Fantastic service again in our 3rd visit now over the past few years. The wife loves the BBQ sauce and her brisket was actually amazing even though I'm not a huge BBQ fan myself.I had the mushroom and veg burger and it was a really nice change... Crispy, tasty, very filling. Would definitely have it again.Totally forgot to take decent pics though.

Best smoked brisket I've ever had. Something about the smoke flavour was better than any other, and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. This dunked in the Gravy Fries gravy is absolute meat heaven. Can't wait to return.
