Lovely place for a visit. The cafe was warm and welcoming.the staff were attentive and helpful. The menu was good and the food was tasty all cooked fresh. Recommended

Extremely disappointing. The staff in the cafe got almost everything incorrect that we had ordered. We suspect they simply weren't listening properly. The rarebit was tasteless and the cheese scone dry; when asked for something for a vegan, they were happy to oblige but the dish turned up complete with dairy products in the dish. The toilets were unclean.Unlikely we'd visit again on our next trip to see family.

Used to have a good selection of food and drinks in the shop. However they seem to be moving more generic farm shop fare. Nothing for dairy free diets in the shop (didn't try the cafe). And no diabetic friendly stock either

Great farm shop. Good quality and range.

·

Very good quality produce, a tad expensive though. The young butcher was rude, as if I was inconveniencing him buying their food. I didn’t even finish my order when he disappeared. Cafe staff friendly but not freshly prepared food. We asked for the rare bit without the leek on top and was told the food comes in already prepared. Drinks were nice, good quality hot chocolate.

Could easily miss this place. Off main road down a country lane. Has a great farm shop selling the usual high quality goods. Had a meal in cafe and it was really nice. Very busy which is a good sign. If you live in the area try it. If driving through, try it.

Generous Chicken and smoked bacon pie. First time visit, came for lunch with a friend. Clearly a popular spot.Bought the pie and some sausages to try out from the shop. The pie was full of big chunks of chicken , well done chef. And tasty pastry.Split between three £2.65/ portion. Looking forward to trying out the sausages. I bet the beef pie is just as good.

Stumbled across this site and decided to check it out. Very glad I did. It's a small site with vast educational value. There is a small play area for the children or young at heart. They have a bird of pray area though I did not have time to check out. The farm shop and butchery is very well stocked.Plenty of parking with good disabled access. Well worth a visit.

Great farm shop. Nice selection of local and fresh produce. Free parking. Tasty vegan sausage rolls.

A beautiful farm shop, cafe and ice cream shop. There is a diverse range of produce here from locally grown fruit and vegetables, locally made alcohol, fudge and baked goods but also great gifts for tourists and books on the local area. There is also an exhibition on the Battlefield 1403 and a falconry centre. It makes for a lovely morning out, especially when the sun is shining.
