Came here for a drink, the service was great, the beer was very good. Great pub decor and location. Food was very good as well.

We visited for an evening meal and drinks with friends. The small, but excellent beer selection is very well kept. The food was fantastic. I very much enjoyed their 14oz steak and would highly recommend the Smashed potato with bacon. The staff were extremely pleasant which made for an altogether great evening.

Lovely old pub, very charming in it's simplicity. Good ales, very welcoming staff, and a super beer garden with great views. Food is home cooked, and definitely worth a try.

Lovely early evening here today. We arrived about 4.30 and the place looked closed but ventured in. Greeted by lovely people and friendly dog who is now our dog's best friend.The garden is completely enclosed and as we were the only ones there the dogs ran riot in the garden which was brilliant!We decided to stay for dinner and had the red Leicester and sundried tomato mac n cheese and the steak and stilton pie, both were delicious!Best of all the team and other customers were all very lovely, would definitely recommend stopping by!

Fabulous meal, served in lovely gardens with very safely spaced tables and benches. Service was excellent. Energetic team running around the garden kept everything moving smoothly in this challenging "road map" situation! We'll be back!

Best pub within a 20 mile radius by far! Lovely owner lovely dogs lovely clientele! Food was unbelievable and the atmosphere is first class. Would give 6 stars if I could! Will be back :-)
