Stokesay Inn in Shropshire

This pub was recommended to us by the owners of Greenway touring park, and it did not disappoint. Great food at an affordable price

Room clean but dated. Extremely poor lighting in the bathroom. Apparently it recently acquired new owners but they need to set their alams earlier as they had only just got up at 830 to prepare breakfasts expected at 830. No hot water for tea or coffee. And then they ran out of eggs......!

Good food and drink. 30 mins ordering to food arrival. Good price.

Friendly welcome and accommodation was fine and excellent breakfast.Would happily stay again.

Comfy, spacious room. Helpful staff. Toilet wouldn't flush. Maybe a tad pricey, but generally a good place to stay if you're in the area.

Well, where do I start. An unfriendly welcome by the drunk locals spending their Job Seekers on booze and smoking 'strong smelling' cigarettes !!! This is NO place for a family or a couple or anyone looking for a nice B&B, its generally not a nice place to stay in at all. Keep on driving past Craven Arms and this Inn, even the rooms are basic, very basic for the price. This is only my review but I certainly would not be recommending this Inn to my Association of UK Walkers and Hikers, be warned.

Great little place and great food, friendly staff and locals and very dog friendly. Good location for local walks too.

Lovely new owners! James in particular was really great, he made space for my family of 10 and the entire staff team provided great service throughout our visit. The food was really nice, the perfect pub lunch! Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Recently under new management and much better for it. New menu just out.Good food and decent real ale. Hopefully they'll expand on the ale choice in the future.Friendly staff. Will definitely return.
