Swan Inn in Shropshire

The food is excellent, as always. Nothing vegan friendly (which doesn't affect me, but is something worth considering), and the veggie options are limited but what is available is very good. I had the vegetarian lasagna with chips and the lasagne itself was gorgeous and the chips were hands down the best pub chips I've had in a long time. My parents had the carvery, as they do every week, they always come here on a Sunday because they love it! I can't comment on the rooms because I haven't stayed in them but for pub grub, it's great.

Went on Friday night and was looking forward to a carvery. There was no carvery. Food was decent and portion size was generous with 2 courses for under £10 definitely good value. Staff were lovely too

What's to fault, been here say 20 times for superb value 3 course Roast carvery. Service fast and furious, lovely and friendly too. In and out quick as its all about turnover but, I've seen how well they treat the oldies doing all they can, eat in or take away. Not local but I get the feeling many people would be lost without it, and that's just a Sunday they do food all week! It's no gastropub and all the better for it. Well done the whole team management and staff.

It was very busy but staff didn't seem to know what was going on. We booked a table but no-one guided us to where we were supposed to sit. We just found a table for two and sat down. But then we were told after we had finished eating we should have sat in the restaurant! But having not eaten there before we were unaware how it worked! Having said that the meal was enjoyable and there was plenty of choice and good value for a carvery.
