Taste At No 1 Ltd in Shropshire

Lovely cafe. Coffee is great! We only had toasted tea cakes but they were good. Nice atmosphere. Flat entrance for wheelchairs and buggies but the toilets are downstairs.

This is a lovely, light cafe with super friendly service and an impressive selection of Gins you can buy here.

Good coffee n various of other drinks n food!

Great welcome and dog friendly. Lovely Illy coffee and scrumptious cakes. Called in twice today and will be back. Thanks

Simple good coffee, great service, totally central to Ludlow. Lovely place to meet friends

I love coming to Taste, always something tasty to eat and they make the best Hot Chocolate. Also great place to come and buy Gin as they have such an extensive range.

Well as i have to give 1 star to write a review... but i actually had nothing to review. We walked in and said we wanted to sit in, one of the servers advised us it was table service GREAT!... We headed outside and within two minutes the same woman came outsite.First she served a couple who had just turned up, fair enough but she did ask another couple who had been there a while another question and walked back in. We were a bit like "oh ok maybe just giving us a minute to have a think"Another 3 minutes later another local couple sat down with their groceries and a different server came out straight away and took their order...not even a glance over to us or to ask if we had been served.Another 2 minutes and the first woman came back to tell a couple that a table inisde was now free.In all we waited around 7 to 8 minutes with no service and yet other tables right right next to us being served. We headed the costa just 30 seconds from here to what was quick service, friendly staff and good coffee and cake.

Great location, looks like it would be a perfect cafe. However, they don't cater to what a customer orders. I asked if they did iced coffee, and was told they could. Ordered it black, with no milk, and they brought me one with milk and said they could remake it if I needed it. Why not make it the way it was requested at the start?

Had a fantastic coffee and cake with my friends today, such an amazing place to go and catch up. The cakes were fantastic and the staff were very good could not have a bad word to say.Been here many times and never let me down. Five star all the way, will definitely come back to Taste At No 1 again. It is one place you are definitely to get good cakes and good service and the drinks are amazing

Great coffee and amazing lemon cake, excellent location with view of the Tudor houses
