Went for Sunday lunch for the first time on 18th July, absolutely delicious, excellent value and the staff are really nice too. Will definitely be going again soon.

Just moved to the area and thought we would give this place a go... When we first walked in we got greeted straight away and took to are table. The dinning area is small and was worried at first but the atmosphere in the pub was great and felt very welcomed.We ordered the pan fried duck and a steak pie and when the food arrived it looked great with a good sized portion, we then tucked in to are dinner and it's the best duck I have had in years it was that good I had to let my missus try some... I tried the pie and it was amazing too every part off the meals was great even the veg..We finished with a couple of desserts and they hit the spot too..So time to leave and asked for the bill and was amazed at this!!! 5 drinks included double vodka, large wine and pints. 2 main meals and desserts was under £50????????I would of paid so much more for the quality of food and drinks this place is a Gem and will definitely be back very soon and would highly recommend it to everyone and anyone if I could give more stars I would.
