The Bell Inn in Shropshire

Been here plenty of times in the past, food not the best this time. Hosts did offer to change the steak, it wasn't great. If we had changed meal we would both be eating at different and that's not what you go out to do.

Absolutely delightful. Staff very friendly and helpful. My scampi and chips were delicious. Hubby had sausage and mash, thoroughly enjoyed it. Sis had lasagne, and loved it. Desert of rocky Road ice cream, and apple pie and custard beautiful.Nice and cozy, lovely and clean. Highly recommended 👌

Our table was booked for 2.15 & it was fathers day! When we arrived we was told that they had already run out of Sunday lunches......not good when your 84 year old Dad expects a Sunday dinner. However we all enjoyed the meals that we did choose! Our waitress Tamara was very polite, welcoming & nothing was too much trouble .Would recommended to others

The food, the service, the ambience, need I say more. Well I'm going to.The food was cooked perfectly and exactly how I wanted it. The waiting on staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us.it was a very relaxed atmosphere, the food wasn't over expensive for the quality of said food - highly recommend - will be returning

Seems it has been taken over recently asenu has changed and prices dramatically increased. Portions also a lot small than previous visits.Food was nice just not big enough for the price. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Had a hiccup initially with the wrong meals brought out. They immediately said they would sort it but we decided to just accept as we were with family eating together. Lovely pub, comfortable not squashed like many places. Meals very tasty, staff were all absolutely brilliant and with the offer, good price too. Will go again.

We came to celebrate our anniversary & the meal was absolutely lovely & we had a cheeky dessert too. The staff was lovely & friendly too.

For the last 7 years we have been visiting The Bell at Tong every other month to eat with family on a Sunday. Over that time we have seen many changes. However, at our recent visit there was a noticeable change. The atmosphere and friendly service was was the first thing we noticed. The staff were engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. We were a party of 10 and we know from experience that serving everyone promptly can be a challenge. However, all the meal looked and tasted great. My 8oz steak was the best I’ve eaten anywhere in a very long time! Overall the experience was fantastic.

This was my first ever visit and I couldn't have been happier. The staff were amazing and friendly, the establishment was really nice, warm, comforting and peaceful. Bust more than anything, the food was wonderful. There was a large group of us split into 2 tabs but that was never an issue, also one of our party wanted a desert to go and that wasn't an inconvenience either. Really wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
