The Bird's Nest in Shropshire

Very civilised cafe atmosphere in a very good location next to the entrance to the excellent Shrewsbury museum. The staff are lovely, smiling and work hard to please. The food, yummy, the milkshakes, yummy yummy 😋 You must visit👍

Had a meal here for the very first time today. It was absolute heaven on a plate!Fab customer service with friendly, polite and attentive staff, including the lovely manager, clean place to eat and the food tasted as sumptuous as I'd seen online.I had the belly pork salad bowl and would highly recommend.A huge well done👏 to all the staff, brilliant chefs and the manageron a superb job.I very much look forward to returning again

Great food, great menu, friendly staff

Incredible food and great environment. Only issue was payment was taken straight away, so if anything had gone wrong difficult to rectify. The food took a good while to come out as well. Tasty but a little too long considering we were there for lunch. However overall somewhere you need to go.

Enjoyed the lamb kofta (£12) but the kids' hot dog (£6) was ridiculously priced for 1 sausage, half a finger roll and a few chips. Ordered side chips (£5 or £6) Service was good. Overall it was overpriced for the portions.

Very disappointed especially as we were so looking forward to trying it. I had prawn pad Thai, it was tasty but noodles were thick and stuck together with hard lumps, also it was served with white and black sesame seeds which were not detailed in the menu. Whilst I am not alergic I would have not chosen to have them. The sandwich of the day was a total rip off, if they had had the honesty to show the price on the menu or the board we would not have stayed as over £8 for a small BLT was rediculous. Coffee was bitter. No member of staff checked back with us. We won't be returning.

One of the highlights of my trip to this beautiful part of the country. I had the pleasure of visiting Shrewsbury's Market Hall and stumbled across 'The Birds Nest' from the moment I sat down I was treated to exceptional service by the waiting staff, my entire experience was delightful and I would return here in a heartbeat. The carrot cake was the best I've ever had. Cannot recommend this place enough, if you're in Shrewsbury go and give them a visit.

This cafe started the extraordinary revival of our indoors market, which has won many national awards.Today, I had the best cheesecake, ever 😋 - served by friendly Katie at the Bird's Nest.Love the funky world music in the background... So proud to be a Salopian 👍

Went for lunch today with my husband (Saturday). The place was busy. You might have to wait a bit for a table. Lovely and cozy place in Market hall. I had Gozleme and my husband had a duck bowl. Food was lovely and tasty. We decided to come back here again around late afternoon on the same day to have desserts. Brownie was to die for ! We would definitely come back here again !
