First initial thoughts was unwelcoming as i was greeted by what appeared to be a grumpy Santa Claus and his 2 little helpers. I was here with my family and we sat in the garden with our dog. very low atmosphere however views of the church was nice. Nobody advised we had to order at the bar until i asked another customer. for a family of 5 the meal was over £80, i was shocked at these prices as the meal was nothing to special. even though it was a tidy/clean pub i will be not returning again. I hope you appreciated our custom

Amazing food really good however they took 45 mins to bring us our wine glasses so we could drink the wine we had ordered... But omg... The food! 'bloody gorgeous' I could have locked the pattern off the plate, muscles to start, blade of beef topped off by a sticky toffee pud which wasn't to sweet it was fab.

Unique half-timbered pub dating back to 1620c apparently, tastefully restored with obviously alot spent as it's virtually immaculate with pristine toilets ect beautiful landscaped courtyard garden where I had an excellent lunch of soup starter and the grilled salmon with a couple of beers,I highly reccomend this place and on this visit the Chef was on top of his kitchen🌞👍🍻

We went here as part of our honeymoon boating holiday and what a beautiful find! The food and drinks were second to none with the outside seating area being immaculately perfect.Initially stopped for a quick glass of wine we found ourselves eating a 3 course meal followed by amazing cocktails and a bottle of bubbles to end the night.Prices were reasonable for the location and quality. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.
