Nice local pub with a warm and friendly welcome

Always had a nice warm welcome when coming to the boars head. Monday nights are always my favourite, always a good drink deal on and always great entertainment.

Great pub and excellent beer and staff

Always sure of a warm welcome here. Entertainment on a Monday and various other theme nights to get you in the mood before heading into town!

On a Sunday evening they host karaoke 6pm-10pm. It's a great atmosphere and enjoyable night by all. Very welcoming by licencee"s and staff.

I as a trans woman cannot tell you how comfortable I feel when here I love this pub the staff are so wonderful and the owners just as wonderful if not more I highly recommend you drink here

Something of an acquired taste but not bad at all, it's a nice place to have a quiet, chilled drink and a chat, watch the football etc.. I have social anxiety so a place like this is good for me

Nice little boozer with friendly staff and customers . However, the only downside is not serving real ale (only bottles)
