Lunchtime visit in the Easter Holidays with children. I did have high expectations as we walk past regularly on family walks and loved the new look so we were looking forward to checking it out. The location is amazing.I was disappointed with the Buddha bowl I had, and when paying realised it should have had avocado in on the menu, which might have improved it.I mentioned this was missing from dish when paying and they knocked my half pint of drink off the bill without fuss which was nice. Son enjoyed his fish dish, the boat house seafood chowder. The kids fun bags of food were nice, but they said were not filling so not great value for money. They did enjoy the experience. Friendly staff, not a long wait on food.

Popped in as passing and looked inviting. Staff were wonderful, so approachable and friendly. Sat outside and such a wonderful atmosphere, dogs welcome and lovely to see ducks and geese walking around. Spotlessly clean, the skin on fries were recommended and lived up to their recommendation as did the garlic ciabatta with cheese....delicious. Will definitely go back x

Lovely location within view of the mere. Excellent homemade scones with a nice pot of tea and good service. Enjoyed feeding the birds with bird feed from the cafe.

We were a large party and had booked well in advance. We had selected our choices in advance. We had a lovely welcome and had a lovely table overlooking the Mere. The food was served on time, was well presented and was very good. Just one note , at the moment there is a problem with the toilets and only portaloos were available. But I understand this is temporary. Overall an excellent lunch which completed our celebrations well.

Good location next to The Mere. Ideal for a pint whilst on a walk. We didn't order food but they have a good menu with plenty of space inside and out.

Just popped in for cake and coffee one very wet afternoon. A lot of people had same idea, but staff handled it well. No waiting, found table. Lovely fresh scone. Lots of dogs and children in. Made it like family reunion with atmosphere. All good.

This place is absolutely divine. A hidden gem. Firstly, we were pleasantly greeted by the staff. Then, even though they had a limited menu due to kitchen issues, I was able to order a delicious vegetarian breakfast. The food arrived fairly quickly and was superb. I had a pineapple and mango tea which was lovely. Honestly the best part of my weekend in Sheffield. Thanks guys😍

Popped in for a late lunch today after a short walk in the shade with the dog. Very welcoming and also dog friendly. We sat in the shade out the back overlooking the Mere. Great service and the staff were all really friendly. If you’re a fresh coffee fan - I’d recommend their coffee too. We will be back!
