The Boycott Arms in Shropshire

Sat outside, in the late afternoon sun, relaxed atmosphere. Drinks & food good value for money. Had 2 steaks for £20, rib eye & sirloin, great quality, with homemade chips served by lovely helpful lady. Thx will definitely come back

Great location, great views, fantastic food all home cooked and made to order and reasonably priced too with friendly staff. This is well worth a visit. The boycott burger was delicious, meaty and there was almost too much of it. Top notch local pub.

Visited here tonight without prior booking and we were able to get a table straight away. The meals were lovely home cooked food and large portions. Great value for money. The staff are all very welcoming. Definitely recommend !

Excellent food and good quality. The portions were perfect, not too big nor small. I order the Malaysian Fish Curry which I highly recommend. The pudding and hot drink offer is a lovely way to round off the meal. The shortbread melted in my mouth. Never tasted anything like this. This is a proper classy restaurant and will go back for a special occasion.

Four of us had a lovely lunch at the pub today. The fish and chips were really delicious. I had the fish finger sandwich with chips which was good. Thanks Tracey for brilliant service. Nothing was too much trouble.

1st visit,lovely staff. Food (carvery)was good could have a bit warmer & broccoli was too hard to eat but meat was excellent & pudding was very nice. Will go again.

Extremely disappointed after reading reviews, staff very pleasant, pub inside was lovely, but omg the Sunday carvery was rubbish, the meat was OK, but all the veg was cold except for the mashed potato and you would be able kill someone with the stuffing ball it was so hard none of us could a fork into it. We will not recommend this venue for anyone wanting food !

I'm not normally a fan of pork but this pork belly draft was absolutely lush!

We popped into the Boycott Arms as it was halfway between our house and our friends, after a long day out and travelling. We hadn't been before and we're really pleasantly surprised. There was 4 adults and 3 children in our group.We had a really relaxed and lovely time - very cosy, which we like in winter. Loved that the real fire was burning away on a cold, dark and wet evening. Table service was nice and they checked our food was OK. The food is nice and homely - not a la carte but we didn't want that!! Sometimes you just want a lovely good old fashioned pub meal. Plenty to choose from. The chips were lovely (clearly homemade) and so was the burger - portions were brilliant. The kids loved their kids meal and for the price, they really did have a lot. We all enjoyed our time. Now we know it is halfway between us, we have all said that we would return, both for food and drinks - come winter or summer (the outside area looked nice especially with the lights).I'm not fussed really with Covid and think we really need to just move on, but if you were, there was plenty of space between tables we were on and sanitiser was available.See you soon.

Great pub for a nice lunch. The chips where homemade and fab. It's not a la carte but it's great honest pub food. Good pricing options and lovely staffSorry I neglected to take a pic of the mains.Will deffo go again
