The Bridgewater Arms in Shropshire

Recently visited with my family to celebrate my birthday, we were greeted and made to feel so welcome , fantastic servicethroughout food was exceptional, and delighted when I was given a huge birthday balloon and a card from the staff as well as a delicious glass of my favourite wine 🍷. I would recommend this pub and will definitely be visiting again .

It's OK nothing really to rave about, but the breakfast is unlimited so the more you can eat the better the value, average food. A kind of flatline experience but if you are local or have stayed at the hotel then breakfast is worth visiting I suppose.

(26th dec 21 @ 1.30pm )Boxing Day lunch was excellent couldn’t fault the service we had by Vicky Kelsey and Charlie not a stone unturned by them 100% brilliant…. Food was fantastic compliments to the chef as well …. I really can’t thank them enough for a fantastic Boxing Day definitely the best team they have there ! Thank you

Very nice food with a good variety, very friendly staff who catered to all our needs regarding slight changes on orders. Waitresses were very good with our groups children and made the experience very enjoyable.

Food has been really good all week and not overpriced. Thanks to all the team and Amy our server. 👌👍😁

we went for food at the Bridgetown Arms for the first time with a group of friends including three children. I don't often do reviews but thought I would tonight as the service was especially fantastic! Not only was everyone who served us so super friendly and helpful, but three staff in particularly Rich, Amy and Heather couldn't do enough for not just us but especially the children. They made it a particularly special and magical experience playing with the elf on the shelf with our children who were absolutely loving it. Definitely their best resturant experience and the best restaurant experience I've ever had too

Easy check-in nice room but heating not working correctly was given a small fan heater which did the job. Food in the restaurant was ok but service was slow, once over an hour after ordering before starter arrived, blamed it on computer systems. Was there all week but room not serviced once, nor was I asked it I required it. Room was very comfortable, clean and well fitted.

Go here regularly for Sunday lunch. Amazing service, the Sunday roast is really tasty and you can ask for extras so surprised anyone can manage a pudding. Also been in the evenings and meal did not disappoint.

As with many places in hospitality they are struggling to recruit staff, and have delivery issues. Despite this they have a core team of amazing staff ,still delivering a great service. Ate here twice for breakfast and once for dinner. We seemed to see the same staff members each time and they were still friendly and upbeat ,the older generation call it "the Dunkirk spirit ". Support the pub for there amazing spirit.

Nice looking pub with a selection of ales on offer. However, we were only here for breakfast having just stayed in the Premier Inn next door, so I can't give a very detailed review. Nice menu and friendly staff. Will definitely be back in to try it properly if we find ourselves in the vicinity.
