We've been to Shrewsbury many times but was our first visit to The Bull Inn. We found it very inviting and though we only had a drink the food menu looked very good. We will definitely go back the next time we visit Shrewsbury.

Went in for a couple of beers, on the way to football, ordered a drink and food, then sat in the beer garden, so not to disturb the rest of the pub. One of the staff (maybe the landlord) was not keen on 10/15 people in the beer garden and asked us to leave. The staff were great but the manager was unaccomodating and wanted the group to leave. Lots of money lost…

Decent location but the staff were absolutely horrendous and didn’t seem to want our custom from the start. Was told we couldn’t use the pool table in the beer garden as it was blocking people’s views of the screen. We was the only people in the beer garden…..

Live music venue at weekends , busy but safe , great staff, suitable for all ages. 2 more pubs within yards & they are nice too..making Butcher Row the trendiest 100 yards in Shrewsbury.

Not nice at all. The food was cold. The meat was boiled beef an very fatty. And the staff where awful. No interaction when bringing menu's to us just plonked em on the table and walked away same wen she brought the utensils. There was an old man sitting at the bar obviously after a bit of conversation an the barmaid just kept turning her back on him. No wonder the place was empty we wouldn't go there again or recommend it to anyone

Spot on, really helpful staff. Lovely rooms and well located. If you want to book. Call them directly. Hotels.com screwed up Luckilly the staff moved the earth to put it right for us.

Excellent price and centrally located. The food and drinks are good and the atmosphere, be it at breakfast, lunch or late is lovely.The staff is accommodating and friendly.Only negatives is the small showers and that the WiFi does not reach the suites.But all in all I would strongly recommend you try the Bull Inn if you stay in Shrewsbury.
