The Coffee Pot in Shropshire

Had a lovely lunch at this charming cafe. Food was fresh & delicious, service was spot on. Not many tables, so come early, well worth it 😋

Daz and his Wife and team, are without doubt 'Top Draw'. He, was friendly curtious and genuine. He served me on Friday, and nothing was to much for him. Being both chefs and waiting on, allowed him to point out the new soup that was taking over from his mushroom that had just sold out. My partner had the best Turkey, stuffing and cranberry pannini's, she's had. My soup was amazing,and eaten with a lovely home made roll. . It was so lovely that we returned the next morning, and the had the pleasure of being served with the same courtesy by Dazis wife Ratchel and a young assistant . It was a lovely atmosphere. I am a firm favourite to frequent as often as I am able to. Congratulations to both you and staff. H.

One of the warmest welcomes I’ve ever received whilst going out to eat. This husband and wife run cafe was charming and the gentleman was very accommodating when it came to ordering our food. We got some homemade chicken and veg soup and a panini. The portions were very healthy which is always a bonus. We couldn’t possibly fit anymore food in before leaving but bought some cake to take away as it just looked too delicious!

Went to pick up a birthday cake and while there decided to have lunch food was excellent as was the cake

First visit, OMG amazing, such friendly staff, food delicious hit the spot and the cakes are to die for, so fresh....... And dog friend 6 stars

Stopped in for lunch and cake on my partner's birthday. Super friendly people and a cosy and homey place that is very dog friendly. Food was tasty and great value and our puppy got a little gravy bone that he loved. The custom cake that Rachael made for us looked amazing, tasted great and was exactly as requested. They even set up a little display stand next to our table for it. Thank you Rachael and Darren for helping to make the day special!

This place is an absolute gem.Despite the unassuming and small front, there is a larger area to the rear with more seating and a massive array of glorious cakes on display.We went in with our daughter (20 months) and the staff were super-accommodating and very helpful with getting a high chair and keeping her settled and entertained. We had a lovely time and the food was excellent. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

This was a suprise find and well worth a visit. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was incredible and the cake was some of the best cake we have ever tried.
