Just stopped after a long drive and what a warm welcome. Hot tea, home cooked ham and salad with home made coleslaw and chutney. . .perfect! Great service, not rushed but not ignored either. No room for cake so I took a piece with me .. .I could see it from the dresser and it was calling my name! Sorry I am just passing through as this would be a regular place to visit. Thank you so much for doing it how it should be done 👍

I have to say that the owner/manager was really rude and give no conversation at all. Even if you're having a bad day you can be pleasant!! Will definitely NOT be back.

Nice tea room. Could do with having some light breakfasts on menu.

So good we went twice in two days, traveling from Newport to Melrose. Wonderful warm welcome, excellent food in a really nice atmosphere. A few others in, the seating was more than adequate for all there. Parking was good too.

We stopped here on the way up to the Classic TT 2017. It was so good we did the same on the return home and had probably the best cooked breakfast ever....M7
