Stoped by for a quick drink and light lunch. Great location looking out over the river and great service. Garden also wheel chair accessible without having to go through the main building.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch here about 3 weeks ago. It's not ultra fancy but the staff were good as was the food and the beer. We'll definitely go back when we are back in that neck of the woods again

Have been here many times, and loved the food and service, but it's very difficult to view the current menu. The website is great on gloss, but absolutely awful for providing clear information. Please improve it.

From the outside, it looks like the sort of place you'd walk into and find a large, open, roaring fire in the middle of a lovely, cosy room. It's not. Whatever character and warmth it may once have had has been stripped out, in favour of a cold tiled floors, magnolia paint and a couple of false beams. When we visited, in January, it was physically cold, but it is also aesthetically cold and uninviting. The place was completely devoid of atmosphere and the staff, although polite and courteous, lacked all sense of hospitality. It was all slightly on the surreal side. We had Sunday lunch and the quality of the food was good. The beef was tender and flavoursome.

Impressively clean hotel, the room was spotless and the whole venue was clean and tidy.I stayed in room 6 which has an impressive 4 poster bed and a big good quality Samsung TV. I had a very comfortable stay. The food in the pub was good and the beer selection was too. Friendly helpful staff and service.Housekeeping didn't take my rubbish bag I'd left, and left the used shower gel bottles around the bath. I was surprised at this, and it's the only thing stopping me from rating 5 stars.Overall enjoyed my stay, I'd book that room again, and the pub and restaurant had a nice atmosphere which I'd recommend for any occasion.

We visit fairly regularly and the food is always good. Recommend the Sunday lunch. Would advise booking in advance. Car park spaces are quite tight and it can get full so you have to park on the road, so car share if you can and drop off guests with limited mobility at the door before parking.

Lovely atmosphere and the Sunday roast was so close to being perfect. I had my beef pink and found it a little tough. There was plenty of meat and it came out plated with a beautiful, BIG homemade Yorkshire pudding. Unfortunately the plate hadn't been warmed and took the heat out of the beef. The food was served with some beautiful roast potatoes, a selection of perfectly cooked vegetables and gravy. Had the meat been a little more tender and hot, it would have been 10/10.

We hired the function room for our wedding reception and it was absolutely faultless from start to finish. Excellent communication and organisation with making the arrangements.Food and the service was impeccable, and a shout out to the fantastic bar man who was kept busy all night and did a great job!We also stayed overnight and had a beautiful room, topped off with a great breakfast the next morning. The Corbet Arms really made our day perfect and memorable and we cannot recommend highly enough.

23rd October 2021. Went for a meal with my wife. My wife really enjoyed her beer battered haddock, the fish was perfectly cooked in a light crispy batter. I enjoyed my perfectly cooked rare rib-eyed steak with blue cheese sauce. We both had desserts which were a delight.Staff were friendly and very efficient.
