Went for my breakfast today and shut! 8-2 says open its lunchtime n it's shut. Not the first time it's been shut at lunch too 🤬

Went there for lunch, what a mistake, husband used the toilet wouldn’t let me use it as it didn’t flush sink was on the floor so couldn’t wash hands.Ordered a bacon bap and sausage bap the brown sauce was put on by staff, the mug that I had for my tea was dirty, absolutely no COVID safety ie: cutlery in a pot on a table for everyone to use sauce bottle on table one menu for all the cafe, because we are nice people we stayed and ate ( food not that good bacon not cooked properly) as soon as we left the cafe we sanatised our hands with our own wipes and gel that we had in the car.

Very good. Friendly staff. Tasty cup of tea and a yummy sausage butty. Very reasonable prices too. Worth a call if in the area again.

Thank goodness for this cafe! All the power was out in the town centre, so no hot food. Then we remembered The Corner Cafe on Beatrice Street. Two regular breakfasts and two lattes for £10. Nice cheerful staff and great value for money. It's a no frills cafe, but nothing wrong with that. Would've given 5 stars if the door hadn't kept on blowing open on a chilly day letting the wind blow in. We shut it a few times, but the catch was no good, so we gave up on it.

Been using this place when in the area for about ten years & the standard, if anything, has got even better.The food is superb & excellent value for money. Breakfast come in different quantities reflected in the prices. You are given a choice of whatever is your own personal preference & served fresh & promptly.Spotlessly clean place, by far best vfm Inthe area, try it yourselves

Small cafe but very friendly with lovely man serving and waiting on tables. He obviously knows his clientele very well and could remember and anticipate their orders. Nicest breakfast and cup of tea I have had out in a long time!
