The Cottage Cafe and Cakery in Shropshire

Magic to find such a welcome sanctuary up a little alleyway off the main street. Freshly prepared food great coffee and smiling staff. Can't be bad.

What a little gem, found it completely by accident, but well worth it. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Drinks are hot and tasted delicious. Our food was served quickly, hot and wonderful. Great find and will visit again next time we are in Ludlow.

Loved it. Great coffee and tea, as well as superb scones and jam/cream. If you go upstairs have a look at the light above the stairway. Very creative 😁👍

A lovely cafe, extremely pleasant staff, the only place we stop for lunch or coffee and cake in Ludlow. Prices are very reasonable compared to many others in the town and the food is very good quality! Also the bonus of outside tables. It is down an alley to the left of Boots (so you dont miss it!)

Lovely little Cafe, bit hidden away, but well worth finding! Great coffee and impressed by having surplus hot Soya milk given in a separate jug as it does froth up and you sometimes get half a cup of coffee (elsewhere). Top marks! Very clean/safe and Spotless toilets. We will be back. 10/10

We enjoyed the variety of hot chocolate for sale - more than the usual single choice. The dark hot chocolate was delicious. They gave us a little jug of hot chocolate to top the drink off once the cream had been eaten; a very nice little touch. Very reasonable prices, a quiet spot in an otherwise busy town, and tasty cakes. We also appreciate that they've left Covid precautions in place (transparent barriers between the tables). (I've already tried a bit of the drink in the photo!)

Lovely little hidden place to eat with really friendly staff, felt very clean and covid safe. Ordered cheese and pickle sandwich with crisps and salad on the side which was delicious, fresh and filling. Will be back!

Wonderful little cafe in the middle of Ludlow ! Easy to miss as it's tucked away down a small alleyway but well worth the visit ! Shielded on all sides by old buildings it's particularly well sheltered from any bad wind . 6 outdoor seats for current covid restrictions and perfect outdoor seating in the warm weather ! Friendly staff and lovely food and coffee !

Lovely independent coffee place with a pleasant atmosphere. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and is great to talk with people and dog-friendly on the outside.The coffees are decent and well prepared; reasonable prices as well. They also provide a small biscuit as well.Also have delicious cakes in the cafe display. It is situated in a quaint alleyway up Attorneys Walk in Ludlow.We have been several times and like the welcoming presence.
