Excellent and tasty food, with enough to take home too. Dessert awesome! I would have preferred a salad on the side, rather than in with the hot food. Really pleased to find Robinson's cider on tap.

Really lovely quiet village pub, we only stayed for a couple of drinks so cannot comment on food, but the ale was well kept and the Robinson's Cider was excellent in the sunshine

Lovely country pub. Very friendly staff, warm welcome to me and my family. Wonderful food but limited menu. Would of loved to sample the beer but I was driving. Will be back again. 🙂

After a nice long walk, we decided to head for some food. Having not been here for sometime, I was relieved to see they had space at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. The Crown had clearly switched hands and with the national locks downs we were apprehensive to see what we could get. The menu was limited (this is understandable considering the circumstances) we settled on the sandwiches with a side of cheesy chips. Needless to say the food was amazing! The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will be returning to try more delicious food! Keep up the good work!

We had a terrible experience here. We had been here a few years ago and it was great! Having not eaten out for a year as a family we were really excited. What a disappointment! When booking we asked if they had a children's menu, we were told they did. When we arrived it turned out they didn't. We ordered a half sized portion of food for him when ordering. The waiter asked if we would like the children's food to come out first and we specifically said we would like to eat all together as a family. Low and behold, his food didn't arrive with the rest of the food. When asked, the waiter looked sheepish, and said he would see where the food was. While waiting for him to come back, we discovered that 2nof the meals were undercooked and inedible. The waiter came back and told us there had been a mix up in the kitchen. They assured us his food, and our side of chips, and the mint yogurt we had asked for twice by this point, would be out asap. We waited half an hour for his food, he is 6 and was starving and really jot best pleased. We asked to speak with te manager to raise our concerns hoping for some sort of apology. We recieved that opposite, we were told that the story we told was different from the one they had been told by their waiter, implying we were lying about ordering the food in the first place!!! The "manager" was passive aggressive in his mannerisms but agreed he would not charge us for the child's food and the inedible food we had received. When paying the bill, my husband was charged the ull amount. When he raised this with the woman serving him. He was told that the person he had spoken to was not intact the manage, it was thenowner. He then had to explain again what had occurred. He was again met with passive aggressiveness, this time from the "actual manager". She also implied we were making a fuss over nothing and we were lying about the food being ordered with the original order. Very disappointing!!!
