Five of us visited today, had carvery which was perfectly cooked, as much meat as you wanted, amazing variety of vegetables, one of the best carveries we have ever had.Only downside is people queuing at the bar while you are walking through with your carvery, then standing around you while you are eating, would be better if people sat at their tables & you served drinks from there. Apart from that will definitely be visiting again π

One of the best carvery,s I have ever had. Service and staff very good. You must book in advance to get a table. If you like a carvery you must visit.

Went for the first time on Mother's Day. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing (as we had been told it would be by family members who go there alot). We had carvery ...as much meat as you want.. all expertly cooked to perfection. Great selection of vegetables. We had ice cream and sauce or ice cream sundae for our pudding. Yummy. Amazing value for money ...we will definitely be going back ... soon.

Staff friendly, the food was excellent, on leaving I asked for a beef sandwich it was that nice, we where on a coach trip at the time, would definitely go back.

Excellent carvery as always. This is one of our favourite eating places, the food is consistently good, decent beer and friendly attentive staff. Always busy so best to book in advance.

Lovely fresh carvery today. The turkey was juicy and tasty. Great selection of well cooked veg. The parsnips were especially good. Lovely friendly staff and good service. Thank you.

Excellent meal, staff were fantastic and service was very good. Many thanks to the waiter who helped my disabled brother with his meal and taking it to the table for him. Highly recommend the carvery, been coming here for many years

Was very disappointed with our family meal. Extremely over cooked chicken wings and deep fried breaded brie which seemed to be missing the brie part.fish and chips was very bland and just didn't taste of anything & chips were over cooked.Staff were friendly enough but I won't be returning

Great staff and a warm welcome. The food was very good and reasonably priced. I've been twice now and I'll definitely be going back again.
