Haven't been to this pub for years and I have to say it was a very good experience Very comfortably laid out and friendly staff. Outside space is superb and the Davenports beer was a real blast from a past. The shall definitely be returning in the future.

It was our first visit on Friday night and sadly will be our last. The meal that we had was not nice at all, I suggest that they change the oil in the fryers more often as that's all I could smell and taste. When we arrived in the bar, we noticed that the bar maid ignored us and went and served a regular I presume, who arrived at the bar after us which we thought was bad, the pub seems to be just for people in their 20's and we felt out of place and uncomfortable, we had gone there to see the live music but felt so uncomfortable that we left after we had eaten. The food cost us £38 for a burger and a lamb shank and a drink each certainly not worth it

Delicious meal Saturday night, two wickedly good burgers and two very indulgent desserts to the backdrop of free Live Music! What's not to love on a Saturday night - great food & great atmosphere!

Really nice pint! You have a great choice of beers. It's owned by the famous Davenports Brewery, Birmingham, that used to do "beer at home". The range of beers covers their own brands as wl as the standard brands. They have a really nice food menu, too.

Visited last week and the food and atmosphere was that good we decided to visit again. Lovely decore inside and out. Open fire in the bar area. Lots of outside seating with heaters at each table. Plenty of parking and easy to find.. This is one of the very few places that is worth traveling to, it honestly is that good.

Beautiful country pub, great beer and great food. The cocktails look and taste amazing, the service is really friendly, there is a children’s play area on site. Family friendly and dog friendly pub with beautiful out door areas front and back of the pub.
