The family organised a Birthday lunch for my 92 year young Father in law and chose the Featherbed as it had a children's play area for the Great Grand Children.From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff could not have been more helpful.The food was hot and very tasty and despite their being 13 of us it all arrived quickly and together.The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful, a great time was had by all.Thank you to the team..

I'm really not one for leaving reviews especially bad ones but honestly I have to say worst meal out I think I've ever had, The Carvery!! Cold frozen roast potatoes, even colder veg and meat that had been left out for hours to turn to leather, it was literally inedible, nobody serving and the best bit is the waitress asked how everything was with our meals so I told her....nicely, she smiled vaguely and walked away!!! Avoid if hungry!

Booked a table for Sunday lunch; wanted somewhere not fast food. Regular carvery was what you expect. No mushy veg, nice meats and very friendly and efficient staff. Booked for after 2.00pm, so quieter than between 12 and 2.

This was my birthday treat with my husband and two friends. We chose to have a carvery meal, my friends decided to have the pork, gammon and turkey, my husband and I thought the beef looked nice so plumped for that. Arriving back at our table we started on our meals. The beef was so tough the knives provided couldn't cut through it ! When finally getting a piece to eat it was chewy and sinewy. At this point I asked one of the girls if I could see the manager who duly came to see how he could help. After talking to him he asked if we would like some different meat. We decided on the turkey for me and pork and gammon for my husband, these were fine and we finished our meal happily.I am happy with the way we were treated and will possibly visit again.

Extremely slow service, made even worse with how quiet the resturant was so one would assume the service would of been alot faster. Then when the food did come out the children's meals were barely warm, missing item on the lasagne meal, burnt burger patty and burnt garlic bread.Safe to say we will definitely not be returning. Waste of money for mediocre service.

Had my nieces gender reveal here and the staff were very accommodating. We had a reserved area at the back of the pub which was really private. The staff were great offering to help set up and assisting with moving tables and chairs. The food was good came out quickly and the staff informed us when main meals were coming out so those with carvery meals had time to go and collect their food. Overall a really good experience

Turned up mid afternoon on a Saturday and we were delighted that there was a carvery available and the normal menu. There were tables available thankfully.Lovely meal!

Tables were clean and welcome was warm. Had a little wait for service on the carvery as some of the veg was being replaced. Good value for money food though.
