Under new management in the last couple of montha. A lovely welcome from Hannah and her husband. We have been for Sunday lunch a couple of times after our daughters Riding lessons down the road. Very reasonably priced. Everything homemade and generous. The burger menu is extensive. I'm working my way through it!

Booked Sunday lunch here, so glad we did very busy, excellent we had roast lamb I was a bit disappointed we had no mash but turned out we didn't need them the portion size of the meal anyway, beautiful roast potatoes and fresh vegetables and a yummy pudding to finish fantastic thank you

Nice authentic village pub selling good beer and food. Friendly staff and excellent service. We visited on a winter's day and the roaring fire was very welcome. We had steak and kidney pudding with fresh vegetables. The food was piping hot and very tasty and wholesome. Prices are reasonable and a good choice of well kept ales are on offer. Highly recommended.

Always excellent. A home from home, with the best good pub food for miles around. A good choice of well kept beers and if it’s your thing, gins! Dog friendly, people friendly, possibly goldfish friendly though we’ve never taken one.

Paid a visit to my partner's nephew and his family on a beautiful bank holiday weekend. Beautiful country pub with amazing setting and views. We hadn't booked in advance which being a small village pub they do prefer so they know what food to get in but they still managed to squeeze 4 adults and 3 kids in for lunch. So pleased they did as it has to be the best Sunday roast I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The vegetables were cooked perfectly not too much but enough so you could enjoy the flavour. The lamb was the juiciest and most tender lamb that I've ever had. There was a small play area for the children which was more than adequate and overlooked a farm. Staff simply couldn't do enough for us, extremely helpful and nothing was too much and the locals were so friendly that felt we were part of the village life too. I would highly recommend this friendly pub, it simply ticks every box...
