Room ok for what we needed. Food was ok but by the time we ate they had run out of a few ingredients

The menu has changed and there’s not much choice. I’ve been a couple of times recently and I seem to have an issue each time I visit. We used to go for the baguettes but they’ve been taken off the menu and so we tried the fish finger sandwich (we loved the baguette), but the oil from the batter just soaked through the bread and affected the taste of it and you could no longer eat as a sandwich. Service was also quite slow and it took 4 members of staff to tell us whether one particular chicken burger on the specials board was chicken breast/fillet or not. Puddings were delicious though, wouldn’t go back for mains but definitely would for dessert.

Called for a meal, 3 adults and 4 dogs. Food was excellent and dogs made very welcome and they loved their doggy ice cream!!

We had Sunday lunch on mother's Day, so I understood they were busy but service was not good, they lost our drinks order twice, then waited a very long time to order food and recieve food. When the food came out it was lovely! Mother in law had the chicken and veg soup for starter and really enjoyed it, the halloumi fries and crispy beef was also lovely on the starters menu.Roast beef and lamb was lovely couldn't fault it! Husband had chicken and tarragon pie with chips and said the chips weren't cooked and couldn't taste the tarragon and my son had the chicken strips kid meals which was a very good size, chips were lovely how they were done but the chicken strips were a bit too greasy. We will definitely try again on a less busier time.

Had new years family lunch here today and was left very disappointed! To start with drink service was terrible, then 1 main meal came 20 minutes after the rest of the main meals, so i ate alone as the other meals were cold with everyone waiting for 1 last meal to still arrive ...and this was also disappointing and not cooked to standard. Staff were rude and disorganised,No customer service satisfaction at all..... wont be visiting again and certainly will NOT recommend!!

Enjoyed a really tasty beef and Stilton baguette, with lovely handmade home cooked chips for lunch today... Delicious to be fair, a vast improvement from when it was taken over a couple of years ago pre -covid... My friends and I have all arranged to go back to sample the Xmas menu!

I stayed here because I had a bike race close by. The place is clean and tidy a little dated but that was fine. The staff were friendly and accommodating to my requests.I managed to eat in the restaurant and it was pretty good value. The portion sizes are very good I had no complaints at all.Would recommend if you want some cheap and cheerful.
