Excellent Sunday meal. Can highly recommend. Great selection with 3 price tiers for 1 to 3 courses

Great place to eat. Good food and choice of beers. Pleasant surroundings and good staff. Not the cheapest but very nice meal. I would recommend.

Rather condescending staff. Most definitely not a warm or hospitable greeting. Probably best summed up by the fascinating looking basket of 45rpm singles that you really wanted to riffle through, with a large "DO NOT TOUCH" sign attached 😏😔 Just had a drink and left.

Quiet time of day. Beautiful food. Attentive staff. Well worth a visit

Lovely venue. Great space for large family gatherings. Tasty food well presented. Reasonable price. Vegetables a bit sparse for some appetites and gravy with no offer of extra but plenty meat. Couple of our group were late so were bit late ordering so were asked to hurry due to other bookings which have we never experienced before. Be prepared to be timely. Table service was limited but good when food was delivered and plates cleared away. Bar bit on expensive side too. If you are looking for a country pub with good food in a nice surroundings and don't mind paying a bit extra, give it a try.

Traditional countryside pub. Good menu, quality food, well cooked and with excellent service. Reasonable prices on both food and drink. Whether popping in for a quick drink, having a bite to eat or sitting down for a meal with friends and family; this is a great place to do it. Suitable for all ages (children's menu available) with outside space when the weather permits. Recommended.

Visited last Saturday with family for dinner, we had a large sharing platter, which was delicious and plenty there. So we were all very happy with that.Unfortunately, I was then let down by the price of the childrens food! £9 for a child’s macaroni and cheese is ridiculous. Not only that but the size is not a child’s portion, if I knew how big it was I would of ordered 1. I have a 5 year old and a 20 month old and it was far far to much.So £18 on 2 Mac and cheese and they hardly ate any so we asked to take it home considering how much it costs..I have taken my children out for food plenty of times and I have never paid so much. In Nottingham I often pay £5/£6 for 3 corses and a fruit shoot for example, don’t mind if they don’t eat it all in that case..And some places children can eat free..i seriously think you need to re look at the children’s menu, £18 is shocking which is the only reason why I have given a 2 star unfortunately.

Had a superb meal (as did my wife) really well cooked Salmon on a bed of seafood risotto, delicious! Great sweet too. Really well styled upmarket pub, good ambiance even on a Monday night. Great service from the staff. Wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.
