The George in Shropshire

It was great here, Sue and Marcus were very friendly and welcoming, the room was lovely and clean, the entertainment (marcus on the piano) was really good! The rooms are named after trains 😊 and breakfast was spot on... Will 100% come back here again!

It's a nice enough down to earth place. Good beer which is reasonably priced. Food was ok, but basic. Ordered focaccia but it was just standard white bread. Burgers were very tasty but small.

A lovely weekend at The George Hotel. Sue and Marcus are a lovely couple, great food and a great place to stay.

A truely hidden gem. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is vibrantly lively and the owners are so warm and friendly. Plus they themselves are entertaining. Fab live bands. Can't rate this place enough.

Hi just been on a 4 day fishing trip river 7...stayed at the George hotel the staff and owners where brilliant very accommodating we swapped breakfast for a packed lunch. Every day are room was cleaned bed made change of towels. Also had evening meals the food was lovely and very reasonable priced. So thanks my little lovely's👍👍👍

Stayed here for two nights in the twin room with my friend as we were going to a wedding nearby.Lovely clean room with comfy bed. Great pressure for the shower and a very handy hairdryer.Breakfasts were tasty and filling. A nice choice on the menu.Sue, her husband and housekeeper were all really friendly and helpful.Would definitely stay again.
