Excellent traditional pub with very friendly atmosphere in a lovely village.

Much Wenlock is a lovely place and the George added to the whole feel. A lovely old pub with real fire place, pew type seats. Great Beers and also alcohol free spirits, which as the driver were great and better than coke. There was another room out back but think that was more for food.

Lovely people and the perfect setting for a tasty Sunday lunch.This place is not a 'gastro pub' but they offer really good value, great beer and are super dog-friendly.Can't wait to go back.

Fabulous Sunday dinner here yesterday, with Sisters, Mum and couple of Grandchildren. Always, a sociable atmosphere, cosy, great menu choice and accommodating staff, banter comes for free. Highly recommend x

Where do you start, Front of House and Service 100%, Bar great choice and good prices. Now the important bit, WOW!!!!! their Chef can cook, we had three mains, and we were all really impressed. Don't just take my word for it just look at the other reviews this is a hell of a good place to eat. Like the rest of the town the people are brilliant in this pub.

A fantastic traditional pub with a really kind and welcoming staff and an amazing kitchen. All the food we had was exceptional. The burger is to die for, the pizza fully loaded, made with proper dough, beautiful . I would return every week if it was close to my place.
