The Golden Lion Inn in Shropshire

A small local pub with nice room with private bathroom s, unfortunately no food served but outside there is a very good choice. Breakfast is order night before, full English or just coffee and toast. Enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Comfy room. Excellent town centre location with private parking. Good breakfast. Good beer. Colourful local characters in the bar. The Golden Lion is a sound choice if looking for accommodation in Bridgnorth.

Me and my partner had a lovely stay the room was clean and spacious. There were plenty of towels and teas/coffees etc as expected. Perfect location right in the center of the shops, there's eateries nearby and a Tesco Express which opens late incase you forget to pack anything! The pub area downstairs was quiet so no inpact on the stay. Breakfast was lovely, only improvement would be to offer vegetarian sausages and bacon (e.g. Quorn or similar). Hope to stay again soon.

Comfortable clean plainly decorated twin room Both beds comfortable. TV badly placed to be watched from the beds and compounded by fact only one chair. En suite shower room good and clean but door faced beds with light switch outside use at night caused light to shine directly at other sleeper. B/fast large but surfeit of beans & their juice made it unappetising. Feel that at £90 per night it was very over priced

Beautiful pub, bedroom was perfect, clean comfortable bed. Breakfast was second to none, staff were amazing. Can't wait to be there again very soon. I don't need to look elsewhere this establishment is just perfect and the locals are so friendly and make you welcome. Can't wait for next visit

We spent a Wednesday night here as we wanted to explore Bridgnorth. The location is excellent as its fight in the town centre,with the added bonus of parking for residents.The room was great and spotlessly clean.we don't usually bother with breakfast but as its included we had it and it was very good. We will be returning. Oh and they had some great Holdens beers on the bar too.
