"It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. Great pub and restaurant most of the meals were home made and the best I've tasted in a long time, the staff were excellent and really went out of their way to make us feel at home. I wish it was closer to where we live so we could visit more often. Thank you Adrian & Lynne, you're a wonderful couple who made our week away so special.Thanks, Terry & Julie.

Lovely pub with food to die for !! Had 3 meals over a week and everyone of them were fantastic!! The steak n Stilton pie gave the midlands pie factory's posh n becks a run for its money. The lamb shanks were amazing and the kids were happy with their choices also. We will definitely return to try the Sunday carvery. Friendly staff and very clean would definitely recommend a visit.
