Had a nice meal here. Friendly, attentive service. Good food. Menu offered good selection of vegetarian / vegan / gluten free dishes as well as the usual meat based choices. I can recommend the Bulgarian vegetable stew and my family enjoyed the haddock and the chicken burger. Will definitely visit again if / when I am next in the area.

Stopped there on a Saturday evening about 6pm, with a semi large group of 9 people in total. The place seemed empty but we were told they couldn't fit our group in for food. They did do as much as possible in helping to find a different pub though.I used the loo, which was nice.

Lovely place, very friendly and welcoming. Could do with a softer chair or two though. Apart from that, beautifully done out and calming atmosphere.

Stopped in for tea and scones... No scones but had a excellent brownie instead. Very chocolatey! Dogs allowed. We sat in the garden which was very green and quiet considering the road close by. Good menu looks good, so will be back for a meal soon. Very friendly staff.

Really enjoyed this. Popped in on a Sunday after booking 30 minutes earlier on Facebook. The Sunday lunch was excellent and the pork crackling the best I've ever had. The sticky toffee pudding was also excellent.Shame about the anti-vaxxer spewing nonsense at the staff - please guys have your vaccines.

Absolutely wonderful! Fast, friendly service, great food, lovely looking menu, & super staff. We went for a cracking lunch & I can't wait to return for an evening meal. Great venue to take parentals & guests out for a meal, or to visit on a date night. Good value, & highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding!Thank you for a great foodie experience.

·

Nice pub very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed steak & chips for a £5 food well cooked, great onion rings and Shropshire blue mushrooms will go again.

Horrific! Place stunk of fish, staff were miserable and slow, waited an hour and a half for main course which was inedible, rare steak ordered was cremated and full of fat, pepper sauce was tasteless and cold and the mushrooms should have been thrown away two weeks before not cooked and served! toilets were filthy, place has no atmosphere whatsoever, drinks served in small tumblers no ice no slice, no nice gin glasses? Was extremely disappointed with our visit and won't ever be returning!
