We have recently moved back to Shrewsbury after 5 years away and The Masala was always our go to for a takeaway.We had heard that they had new owners so we're a little sceptical of what to expect after receiving great service previously.We need not of worried because the service was just as good making me feel welcome and the food was as excellent as what we were used to.We won't be going anywhere else.

We booked a table for 8 as it was my Son's birthday. Had the best night in a long time. Food was amazing and the service was great. They couldn't do enough for you.And as for the Haapy birthday song, full on rave. Loved it. The whole restaurant joined in.Definitely going back. See you soon and thankyou all at the Massala.

Lovely restaurant with wonderful staff and fantastic food. All the staff where really friendly and attentive, we hadn't booked a table and even though they were clearly busy they still seated us and gave excellent service. All the food we had was lovely, really fresh, and full of flavour, couldn't have asked for better, just wish we lived near by so we could go again soon.

In Shrewsbury for a holiday and this restaurant was just across the road from where we were staying. What a little gem it is! Visited on a Thursday night and even though it was very busy, Buz managed to fit us in. A lovely bright, clean restaurant in a beautiful setting with a good range of Indian-bengali food on offer. Staff were very attentive and Shufi looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Portion sizes are very generous (I couldn't finish mine) and the food was amazing. If you ever visit Shrewsbury this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
