September 2021, first time at the Narrow Boat Inn and wasn't disappointed. From the moment we arrived we we're made welcome. The Landlord put the wheelchair ramp into position for us and stayed with us to make sure we got up and down it safely, and when inside he even changed our table to one more suited for a wheelchair 👍The food and service was spot on. Good traditional, no-nonsense pub grub, and piping hot too! Just how Paul likes it👍 Great prices too😃 Dog friendly too👍🐶Will be back in October 2022 with a party of twelve for our 40th Wedding Anniversary meal on our narrow boatday trip on the Shropshire Lady, Lyneal.

We stopped here in our narrowboat for the evening, and I realised we had no blue milk for my 1 year old. The shop wasn't open, and I chanced my luck by asking at the pub. The landlord didn't have any, so he drove to the shop for me and bought some. So we had some drinks and desserts to show our appreciation and they were delicious. Such a lovely pub with a very kind landlord who saved us! Thank you

Basic pub food but my fish and chips was cooked well. Good beer. Very accommodating management. Great location on the canal.

Amazing place with great food and very friendly staff, the owner is very nice aswell. Would highly recommend stopping by this place, especially if on a canal barge, my favourite place and nicest meal that I have ate on our whole holiday.

Fantastic pub with friendly service, great beer (Shropshire Gold) and good food! Perfect for a boating holiday pit stop, and has a covered outdoor seating area in case it rains while we come out of lockdown.

Lovely, friendly service, good value. Also, we ordered 2 baskets of chips and he suggested we would only need one! Clear and concise covid guidlines. Lovely and quaint.
