The Old Mill Tearooms in Shropshire

Loved it, shame the tearooms had no clotted cream for a cream tea

We go here twice a week, Tash is so friendly and helpful. Just wish the tea cakes were cheaper

Went her for some quality girl time with the fam!We were asked to sign in & sanitize upon entry. The menu was on the ceiling - fab idea & very inkeeping with the theme of the tea room.Service was friendly & there was more than enough food for 4!

Ohh this is a divine quirky place with chairs suspended from the ceiling and an Alice in Wonderland theme.There is a good selection of hot and cold food as well as a lovely collection of cakes.I chose a brie, bacon and cranberry toasted sandwich. It arrived piping hot on lovely rustic bread. There was also a lovely freshly prepared side salad. Exellent value for money and a delightful setting. I will be returning there again for lunch!!

Fantastic tea rooms .... very quirky! Comfortable sofa's...vintage tables and chairs to sit at. Good selection of hot and cold foods. Browse round the antique centre before and after...great way to spend a couple of hours

Absolutely brilliant afternoon tea party. Really quirky place and service was great. Loads of food and you can take your own alcohol! Would definitely recommend 😀

How anyone can have anything negative to say about this place is beyond me!! In my job I go to cafes up and down the country and this place is my favourite by a mile! The staff are great , especially Charlie who goes out of her way to make you welcome. Great food and a lovely environment. Best coffee in Shropshire too!!

What an entirely lovely and quirky tea room.... the coffee was excellent and so were our toasted sandwiches which were delightfully served with salad and coleslaw.... on the day we visited unfortunately we were in a bit of a rush and the staff very kindly catered to that..first class...we will definitely be going back..next time we will try the lunch menu rather than the snack one...only the shortness of time prevented that this time..however we may also be tempted by the afternoon tea offerings which we glimpsed being served in one of the private areas reserved for tea parties etc...the parties are available all day not just in the afternoon and customers are able to take their own alcohol for those wanting a grown up party!!!..what a great find ..10 out of 10 to Charlie and her staff..x

Celebrated the 60th birthday of a good friend here with a Mad Hatter's Tea Party which was such fun. The table had been decorated with a wonderful array of Alice in Wonderland themed accessories and there were a selection of props for guests to wear. The party table is screened off from the main tearoom to give some privacy. There was an enormous amount of food, including sandwiches, sausage rolls, chips, scones and cakes. A great setting and you certainly won't go home hungry!
