The old rectory in Shropshire

A beautiful Georgian house in lovely countryside.We had lovely breakfasts and an excellent dinner cooked by Izzy one evening.We were made very welcome and would thoroughly recommend it

A wonderful little B&B just outside Ludlow. It's a bit out of the way but don't let that put you off! The amenities were great and the location was actually a highpoint. The hosts put on a great breakfast every morning and were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay!

Great B & B in Georgian house, lavish rooms, amazing breakfasts and friendly hosts!

Gill and I stayed at Izzy's gorgeous Georgian home for 2 nights in early summer. Everyone and everything at the Old Rectory were a delight! The setting is beautiful and the location ideal to take day trips. We received such a warm welcome, loved the tranquility, and were amazed with our breakfasts and dinner. Izzy gave us great ideas for exploring the nearby sites. Perfect stay and we hope to return some day.

We stayed with Izzy and Andy about a month ago and had a fabulous time. Their home is set in beautiful and peaceful Shropshire countryside and we were made very welcome by everyone, including the two dogs! Great food and accommodation that surpassed our expectations, we would thoroughly recommend a visit, we will certainly be back!

Such an amazing place. I spent nearly three awesome mounth here and just loved this place. I really recommend the food and the accomendation. I lived at Izzy`s and Andy`s place as a worker, helped in the B&B and looked after the two adorable horses. All the guests I have met were happy without exception. Izzy puts a lot of love and effort in everything she does. And all her helpers are very lovely, too. Also you will find plenty of subjects to talk about with them. There is al lot of knowlegde to reveal. If you take a dog or even a horse with you its not a problem at all and you will be very welcome.Its just a very nice and pretty place, with a big garden and a lot else to discover. If you look for some rest and peace you will find it here...;)

We enjoyed a perfect night away at the Old Rectory. The hosts/house/location were all truly fabulous.Izzy and Andy couldn't have made us feel any more welcome and their 2 beautiful dogs Tilly and Charcoal were equally as friendly!Would return in a heartbeat and hope to stay again very soon.This place is a must.

A wonderful place to stay. Everything about the Old Rectory is special, the room, the breakfast, the service and attention provided by the owners. You could not find a better B&B.

Excellent accommodation and perfect hosts. Well worth a visit. We will certainly return.
