The Old Three Pigeons in Shropshire

Excellent Sunday lunch. From booking to paying the bill the service was excellent. We finished our walk up Nescliffe earlier than expected so I phone ahead and the staff were very accommodating and moved our booking forward.Warmly greeted on arrival, the bar area has been refurbished since our visit pre-lockdown and looks great!We were taken to our table in the main restaurant area, ample space for our pram as requested. Lovely bright dining room.We had 4 different roasts, all were very much enjoyed. Pork belly & lamb shank options delicious! Beer was right on point too.Good value for money, quality food & service. Highly recommend!

Not sure what's happened as over the years had nothing but great food great service unfortunately it's more like poor pub food, some elements of the food smelt really bad noted to the waitress who did nothing and the same to another couple, its one thing to ask if all is good but take action if not or I feel things will continue to go down hill - amazing what a good chef can do for a business. The toilets were not very clean and lots of flys in restaurant strange this time of year? Anyway real shame as it was a great place and hope it was a one off experience and wish them.luck in the future.

Great place to eat and drink. You're aloud to take your dog, the staff are super friendly and the menu isn't huge but had a really good selection to choose from. Will definitely be eating here again next time we're in nesscliffe.

Went here last week for my wife's 30th, there was a group of 16 of us and Tash and the team were amazing, they were so attentive and patient with us. The food was amazing, the steak was perfect and the Katsu curry was a big hit, the total bill was a big surprise as we were expecting to pay a lot more for such quality. Lovely cosy country pub atmosphere! We will definitely be back again soon.

What a lovely relaxed place. Really enjoyed the red thai curry. Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to go again soon.

Soon to be moving to Nesscliffe, we wanted to find a new 'local' that offered a good location, ambiance, friendly staff, a great choice of drinks and food, value for money, and all within walking distance of our new home. A big thank you to the staff at the 'Old Three Pigeons' for making us feel welcome and for exceeding our expectations. The 'Old Three Pigeons' will definitely become our new 'local'.

Pub is a nice environment and easy to get to. I had the fish and chips which were nice and partner had the chicken burger. However the chicken was really dry! This was nothing compared to the portion sizes! They were enormous! No need to be that big and I am a big eater! We would have brought dessert and ordered more drinks but were too stuffed!
