Well looking at the food on line, we were looking forward to a mixed grill. but I think it was a chef from the 90s. Was told it was home made pepper sauce ,homemade from a packet. £2.50 for frozen hand full of chips.menu chill lassi, pie, curry or £9.00 for a plain burger then charged extras for chip and toppings So never again plus we booked and new nothing about it.staff huum, I will leave that let's just say a smile or a hello. Goes along way.

Wanted food but 45 minute wait. Can't understand why as it was nearly empty inside. Outside could be much much better, but was very tatty and you risked your life sitting on the chairs. Weeds everywhere, such a shame. Could be a goldmine, and wouldn't take much to make it look better.

Good location and plenty of parking. Nice vege food but not quite 5 star thanks to the fly paper

You were very lucky, Mary, that you choose to go elsewhere. We had a meal there this evening and it was dire. The atmosphere, the service and the food, especially the dessert!. We only stayed as we had booked and were hungry. We were shown to our table and left a single menu to share and in such subdued lighting we could hardly read it. After choosing we had to return to the bar to ask to order which was eventually carried out at our table. The food arrived hot but the chips were undercooked and my tartar sauce was so tart I couldn't use it, fish had curled and was placed skin up on the plate and mushy peas probably Tescos. The best part of the meal were the sides of onion rings that we both ordered and we both enjoyed. Dessert, which we shouldn't have ordered was plastic, chocolate fudge cake was served cold, black forest gateau was like cheese cake and both served with ice cream straight from the fridge and so hard we had to wait ten minutes before we started. We received an apology at the end for the slowness of service as it was very busy. What? Ten covers on three tables busy? Served by the single waiter all through our service and so glad as when an additional waiter appeared he looked as if he had come straight from his job on the farm and still wearing his work clothes - dirty and very bedraggled - I so hope that he wasn't the chef!...... When we came to pay, the waiter walked away with our bank card - they should have paid us for our sufferance. Very poor!
