We stopped here on our way home from Wales, heading back to Worcestershire, the food was brilliant, I had duck and there was two massive pieces of it! And a nice side of vegetables, was spot on, the staff was friendly and the place was nice and tidy. Highly recommended.

An excellent place for dining out , and a variety of beers available. The staff are extremely welcoming and pleasant. Very helpful nothing is a problem. The menu has a wide choice, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for . Plenty of parking and a fabulous setting alongside the Montgomery canal.

Excellent food great service friendly staff cracking ale house

·

Lovely service and great Sunday roast with lots of veggie sides

Food was excellent and decent size portions too, but the Guinness wasn't the best I've tasted outside Eire, and at £4.20 a pint, was very pricey. Would definitely recommend though just for the food.

We stopped off at The Queen's Head on our way back from a trip to Oswestry. We hadn't booked and dropped in on the off chance we would be able to get a table. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and quickly shown to a table. Our drinks order was taken and was served quickly and politely. We ordered our food shortly afterwards and this again was served without delay, we both ordered a starter and mains. I can say hand on heart that the food was absolutely fantastic, in fact quite easily the best food we have enjoyed whilst dining out. The service we received was also second to none. The staff were fantastic and made an impromptu stop off even more enjoyable. Everybody was polite, friendly and extremely helpful and we look forward to returning to The Queens Head in the not too distance future.

What a little GEM stumbled over this place on returning from Oswestry. Sunday afternoon they were packed to the rafters luckily for us they 1 barside table into which we slotted comfortably had the brisket mrs had salmon we would like to thank them for a fantastic meal little expensive but very well worth the extra cost. Very very well done.Don't forget to do the canalside walk to work off those gained lbs£££-££££

Really nice food and decent portions, a little slow on service however nothing major and certainly worth any waiting, friendly staff seems clean enough. Can't really complain. 👍

We stopped by for a late lunch. It didn't look much from outside and inside looks like a regular pub. But the food was actually good. Great flavours and dessert was well presented. Pleasantly surprised. Great little find.
