Staff polite, lovely quiet restaurant and food always good. Plenty of parking, seating available outside plus cozy fireplace for a cold evening. Fajitas delicious, mixed grill really tasty and Eton mess to finish. Only markdown was because we tried to get plates taken away for 40minutes but ignored. Will return though

Very acceptable , the grandchildren enjoyed it. Not very flexible with food choices for children. However they loved the ‘build a sundae’ dessert. Good value and pleasant staff.

Went for a meal with 2 family members though it was busy we didn't have to wait long for our food, I had scampi it was cooked perfectly nice n hot.the other meals were fabulous as well, so thank you very much .Definitely coming back. Xx

Really good food, for a chain pub. Had the large fish and chips, the fish was beautiful. And the dessert was immense.

A nice pub, friendly staff, basic pub grub cheap and cheerful with a good range of drinks on the bar. A great beer garden and plenty parking.

Where do i start . Staff fantastic, warm and friendly. Decor beautiful ,visited here many years ago with the children so appreciated seeing the original decor blended with the new . Food beautifully cooked fish and chips hubby said best he has had and he loves his fish and chips ,mum had Gammon all the trimmings, me vegan Smoked Burnt Auburgine, wow taste and presentation on all was excellent we can all report. Excellent value for money 2 mains for £11,we were that impressed I downloaded the app and booked for this week whilst there ,highly recommend . 👍

I came here for a midweek lunch, last week and had the Italian Chicken and a pint of Heineken. It felt welcoming 😊 food arrived quickly and was lovely. Staff were fab. I will be back soon. Special thanks to Lucy who assisted me with the menu and making my allergies no problem.Thankyou

We both chose fish and chips off, the Two for £11 menu. Presentation was good the food was hot and the fish batter was beautifully crunchy. Our portion size was good and we both commented that it was an 'excellent meal'. Well done to the staff, those we saw were very pleasant.We will definitely be back.

Just popped in on the off chance. Had fish and chips, wow. The batter was the best I've tasted in a long time. The fish was beautiful and the presentation was excellent. The staff were excellent and very pleasant. As for value, brilliant. We will be back whenever we are in the area. Thank you.
